Students learn more than performing arts at Landrum, they aquire important social and life skills that guide them throughout their lives. Director and owner Annette Vallone has made community involvement an important part of her career as well as part of the student experience, with opportunities for participation in annual community events, including 'Light the Night,' 'Fashions for St. Jude,' and the Whitestone and Bayside Tree Lighting Ceremonies.

This focus on the community combined with health, safety, and image student workshops, and professional, caring and dedicated instruction in all aspects of the performing arts produces award-winning dance and singing performances regionally and nationally as well as local and city-wide awards, honors, and scholarships for students, including multiple 'Girls of Merit' awards in 2014 and 2015.

In addition to in-school seasonal celebrations, such as the annual Halloween Party and Pajama Week, the Landrum Family celebrated 35 years in 2015 with an end of year spectacular that featured an alumni number with over 60 former students.

The staff, parents, and students at Landrum have created a place where creativity, imagination, and good citizenship can be expressed in a caring, friendly and safe environment.
