Annette Vallone, Queens Courier's Top Women in Business Hall-of-Fame Inductee 2014Annette Vallone was inducted into the Queen’s Courier Top Women in Business Hall of Fame on May 20, 2014.

Annette has been a prominent member of the business community for 35 years.

Born and raised in Whitestone, Annette attended the Landrum School of Dance as a child and assumed ownership at the tender age of 18.

In 2013, the school became Landrum School of Performing Arts, offering Acting Classes, Singing Lessons, Musical Theater Performances,TV and Film Production, Circus and Ariel Arts in addition to instruction in over 17 genres of dance.

Landrum has its very own 100 seat fully operational Theater with all the bells and wistles needed to produce a full scale play.

Landrum is now the only school in Queens offering this variety of the Performing Arts in one location!

Annette also owns and operates Precious Moments Nursery School and Day Care, with locations in Whitestone and Maspeth.

Both Landrum and Precious Moments routinely win Best of the Boro awards from the Queen’s Courier, having cared for thousands of children from Queens for over 30 years.
